What got me interested in design?
I have always loved art, but usually appreciated from a far. I mean yea I drew and illustrated as kid, but nothing major, never won any art shows or any accolades that I could pin on my wall today, but I still loved everything about it. From comic book illustrations to the way my favorite cartoons were animated. When it comes to art I was hooked! It was not until, my second year into college, taking any job I could get, I landed a job at a Personals site doing promotion, GASP! I know it sounds cheezy and trashy, but if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be the swell fellow you see in front of you. I somehow got out of the promotions room of the site, and when I say promotions, I mean literally I was that guy in chat rooms posting a stupid comment and a link to my HOT profile so you can see more of me! I usually pretended to be a girl or some hot chick, but we got paid $16 an hour to play on the interent, so nothing wrong with that.

I started messing with the copies of Photoshop and Illustrator at work after hours, and next thing you know managment is asking me to do some work for the site. Nothing big, creating buttons, ads, or animated gifs, but it was fun and I wanted more. Once I got my wfeet wet in school, apt, and partying, I decided to start my own graphic design company. Most of my work was free, so I am not sure what kind of company I ran, but I would get so excited to work on a companies project, I would work for peanuts, ok well Ramen noodles, but close!

After a few years of doing free work, I finally did research on my favorite designers, and websites and figured, heck, I could make a living off of this! Something about doing something you love is one thing, but doing something you love, and keeping food on table at the same time is hard to do. It took years of promotions, years of crappy designs, and bootleg photoshops, to finally start respecting my craft and really trying to do it right and pay homage to the creepy internet nerds before me, we call designers!

Something about this culture is amazing, yes there are millions of graphic designers on the net, but once you got your name out there and chatted it up on some forums, and websites, you find out this world is a lot smaller then you think. The people that inspired me to get into design are the same people I can chat via the intertubes on a daily basis.

Are you still reading this garble??!

To make a long story short, I know own two, count em two, clothing lines along with my normal freelance work. Discreetly Greek is a Black Greek Lettered Organization clothing line focusing on FASHIONABLE apparel for members of Black Fraternities and Sororities. I saw a niche that needed help and I wanted to be the man for the job.
I also own, Malicious Intent, a crazy wild 80's and 90's inspired clothing line for any 80's baby! With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Gummi Bears, and video game as inspiration, you can see where this line is headed. My goal is to do this line as a hobby and see if I can land it in some stores.

Other then that I am pretty normal, I put my jeans on two feet at a time just like everyone else. I got a pup, a loving girlfriend and I live in the most AWESOME state in the midwest! So if your looking to chat it up about the Vikings, or just want some time wasting, I am your guy! Feel free to contact me!
